Boys Track & Field Wins Wayne Invite, Girls Claim 3rd

The Centerville Boys Track & Field team tied Cleveland Glenville for 1st place at the 2-day Wayne Invitational, a major accomplishment for the team. The Elks were led by Cameron Gay and Sopuluchi Anosike, two standout athletes who delivered exceptional performances throughout the meet. The team's victory was the result of a well-rounded effort from all members, each contributing their best efforts to secure the win.

While the boys team was basking in their success, the girls track team also had an impressive showing, placing 3rd at the 2-day Wayne Invitational. The girls team had a balanced attack in the sprints, hurdles, distance, and throws, with everyone doing their part to contribute to the team's success.

One standout performance from the girls team came from Victoria Kuol and Mariah Francis, who finished 1st and 2nd in the hammer throw event. Their exceptional technique and strength were evident as they dominated the competition and secured valuable points for the team.
