Boys Bowling Sweeps Wayne, Remains In 1st Place

The Boys Varsity Bowling team emerged victorious against Wayne, solidifying their position at the top of the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). The Elks secured a commanding win with a final score of 2595-2400, showcasing their skill and teamwork on the road.

Leading the charge for the Elks were standout players Payton White and Zach Hamrick. White delivered an outstanding performance with an impressive two-game total of 475, featuring individual game scores of 241 and 234. Hamrick contributed significantly with a solid total of 436. Brody O'Brien joined the action and made a remarkable impact with an exceptional game score of 265. The combined efforts of these players played a crucial role in securing the victory for the Centerville Boys Varsity Bowling team.

The Elks' triumph not only solidified their position at the top of the GWOC but also highlighted the depth of talent within the team. The players' dedication to their sport and each other was evident in their stellar performance on the lanes.

Not to be outdone, the Junior Varsity (JV) Boys Bowling team also showcased their skills in a spirited contest against Wayne. The JV team secured a convincing win with a final score of 2313-1879. Gabe Clark emerged as a standout performer for the JV squad, posting an impressive two-game total of 501, featuring individual game scores of 244 and 257.

The success of both the Varsity and JV teams reflects the commitment, hard work, and skill present within the Centerville Boys Bowling program. The Elks' continued dominance on the lanes is a testament to their dedication to excellence and their pursuit of success in the GWOC.
