On Thursday night, the Boys and Girls Diving teams showcased their skills at the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) Diving Championship held at the Dayton Raiders Aquatic Center (DRAC).

Let's start with the Girls 1M Diving results. Colleen Lentz secured an impressive 6th place with a score of 145.25, showcasing her prowess in the event. Chloe Sorensen followed closely, earning 8th place with a score of 122.50, displaying her own set of skills. Ally Zart also contributed to the team's success, finishing in 12th place with a score of 102.40. These remarkable performances propelled the girls into the swim portion of the meet, securing a solid 3rd place overall. They find themselves just behind Miamisburg and Fairmont, setting the stage for an exciting competition ahead.

The Boys 1M Diving results added another layer of excitement to the championship. Carson Huxtable, a senior on the team, clinched an outstanding 2nd place with a score of 129.80. Huxtable's remarkable finish positioned the boys just behind Fairmont as they head into the swim portion of the meet on Saturday. His skill and determination shone brightly, contributing significantly to the team's overall success.

As the teams transition to the swim portion of the competition, the performances in the diving events have set a positive tone, and the swimmers are ready to build on that momentum.
