This past weekend, the Cheer teams embarked on an exciting journey to Orlando, FL, to participate in the UCA National Championship Competition. The teams showcased their talent and dedication on a national stage, representing their school with pride and determination.

Among the two squads that competed, the Gameday squad achieved a commendable 10th place out of 16 total teams. Despite missing the qualifying mark for finals by a narrow margin of just 0.9 points, the team demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork throughout their performance.

On the other hand, the Competition Cheer Squad delivered a stellar performance, facing off against 15 other squads from across the country. Their hard work paid off as they secured a spot in the finals and clinched an impressive 4th place overall in the competition. The team narrowly missed the 3rd place spot by only 0.1 points, showcasing their competitive spirit and dedication to excellence.

The success of both squads at the UCA National Championship is a testament to the dedication and hard work put in by the coaches and athletes. Their commitment to perfection and teamwork shone brightly on the national stage, earning recognition and respect from their peers and competitors alike.

As the teams return home, they now shift their focus to the upcoming challenge of the OASSA State Championship Competition at Big Walnut High School. With their sights set on continued success, the Centerville Cheer teams are gearing up to showcase their skills once again on March 2nd and March 3rd.
